Delta Faucet Company

Recently I had the opportunity to attend a designer training at the Delta Faucet company headquarters in Indianapolis. It was very eye opening and encouraging to see all of the research, design and testing that goes into these products.

Day 1 we learned about the history of the company and their business practices. Some of their executives had dinner with us and we were able to have open and honest conversations about what clients are looking for and what our needs are in the faucet world. We learned about the current trends in plumbing fixtures and what the market is demanding.

Day 2 we got to tour through their testing lab and see all of the hours that go into testing each product to ensure that the customer is getting an excellent faucet. We learned about the water restrictions and the technologies they have developed to make the shower experience better while using less water. We got an inside look at their design department and the prototypes they are working on. We got a sneak peek at the new products they are rolling out and got to vote on what future products they bring to market.

Day 3 we learned all about the inner workings of shower valves and what goes on inside the wall.  We got to touch and feel every one of their products in their showroom and learned all about the touch technology and how it works and what makes their technology superior to other manufacturers. Delta Faucet Company is actually the company that originally invented the touch technology for faucets.

We use Delta faucets a lot in our projects and now I am even more convinced of the great quality and product that they produce and can feel confident recommending it to clients.
